Just wanted to say I love your themes, esp. these new ones which work perfectly on my E71. But there are always some icons missing (not your fault). So, how about making a theme with flahorn’s icons, other (colored) icons will then fit in better! I know I could use the default icons, but I really don’t like them…

I am using your Dark In Gray themes for my E71. It is really the best themes that I have ever had for the past 4 months!!! Really cool and awesome!
Unfortunately, I just upgraded my E71 firmware to .127, and suddenly when I go into Contacts (phonebook.exe) – the themes got screwed up. The highlighted contact got this strange default E71 color, and the rest of it were invisible – due to the black color font..
Do you have an update for that, please? Thank you very much.

I’ve been using your Twenty Five theme during Christmas and I think it’s so cool and nice, so thank you!
I also want to tell you that I’ve found a bug in the Dark In Blue theme (http://www.babinokia.com/2008/07/27/dark-colors-2/). I use the application Handy Alarm Pro and it has an icon customized by you in some themes, but not in this one. Could you fix this please? I have a shortcut to this application in the main screen and it’s ugly if it does not have its customized icon.

Amazing themes ! only one problem,
They are working well with 5800, but the dark themes (only black, Jack etc’…)
have a problem that the font is white and the background in the dialer or text message is also very light, so you can’t see what you type.
Can you maybe fix it ? maybe you can change the background in the dialer ?

Babi, your new icons is very nice, but no way close as nice as your old icons! Would it be possible for you to make themes with both old and new icons? I just cant imagine loosing your superior monocrom icons… :-(

Don’t worry Jack .. I’ll still use my old iconpack … Some themes will be with new and others with the old. I have only to upgrade the oldest ;) (I do not know why but I was sure that you don’t like the new a lot ;) )
@Shahaf: I have not a 5800 for test… It’s very difficolt do a theme without try it on phone … and for you phone I have to use a different Carbide version
Well Miss Babi, the new icons is ok, but the old icons is bigger and very easy to see! I’m getting old and my eyesight is no longer so good, and I cant remember where my shortcuts is placed… :-(
I wish you will produce a lot of nice themes in the future! And that this new year will bring you a lot of happiness and wealth!

Love your themes, especially the new one! Would like to have the icons for Opera Mini, GMail and Projekt S60 in a theme… And what about colored icons?? Thus, 3rd Party icons would better fit in.

hi I have download a lot of your themes, and they are awsome, the best I’ve seen, I especially like black v7 for e71 both with and without the icons, but :-( in the calender parts when you enten a new apointment you can’t see where you are, there is now selection og higlight and some of the text is also black which makes it a bit difficult to see and takes up some more time than normal to makes the apointment !!!
hope you can make a black theme or a silver/grey theme with some black in it for the nokia e71

I have noticed one slight possible issue – (Im on a Nokia N96 – T-Mobile Network, UK) The icons in the “Main Menu” section: for Jukebox, Web N’ Walk, & Mobile TV aren’t overwritten with your custom icons when I change the whole theme?! Any ideas as to why this happens?
The preferred theme in question is: Darkness_by_babi

@Maurice: icons of java programs like opera mini can’t be changed. For colored icons there is the problem that they are not so light on phone, I have more than 500 3rd Party icons, a theme with colored icons would be too heavy and slow down the phone

I am a huge fan of your RedWave and Bluwave themes. I just think they look amazing on my Nokia E90. I have some issues which I would like to see resolved soon for abetter experience, thanks iun advance for your consideration;
-GPS Icon does not change after theme application
-Real Player icon does not change after theme application
-WLAN scanning detection icon in the standby-plugins list is not changed
-Set Up Internet Tel. icon in the standby-plugins list is not changed
Please amend these themes soon or if you can better them with new features, this would be very much appreciated.

@for Jack: new icons are not good for a white theme… and I have also to update all old icons (they are over 1000 icons
) and now I have no time. If you see I have to do more files for each theme (the last are 8 files) … so for me it’s too hard to do also a version with oldest icons

@for Dorna: newtigeranddragon theme is an old theme and it’s not compatible with fp2 ;)
Great themes! Many thanks. Keep changing my phones but always find your themes to be some of the best no matter what nokia model i have. Shimmer White looks awesome on my white E66. The icons are good – though not a complete set. You use single color icons now. Single color icons look good on ‘big’ phones (like my N85) but on a petite E66 – the same color icons look confusing. Also nobody seems to be making themes fully compatible with E66. Thanks

Babi i have a sheer request for you to remove bars from the silver theme which you dedicated to hammer, i have e61i and on that bar is only on bottom side which looks ugly, either remove it all or make it balanced on both sides up and down…

your themes are only complete in the whole web. Try to make Apple web pages style theme for E71. The simple silver and gray design complemented with light blue text is fantastic. Or else iPhone theme.

two bugs:
1- contacts: white background + white text –>we can not see the names
2- calender: we can not see the cursor (actual position), maybe white instead of grey
(Nokia e71 – only black v7)
the problem is in the version with default icons (OnlyBlckV7NB_E71default)

Thanks! The Lovely (update: White Red V2) for E71 looks great on the E66. Icons are smarter (petite); theme background colors for missed call/sms notifications & contacts (finally!). Good show! Becaus its E66 – the only icon unchaged is the slide handling icon. But not a worry. Thanks again.

Hey man, love your themes. I use a Nokia 5320 XPRESS MUSIC with FP2. Your themes are too resource intensive (too heavy), it slows down navigation.. You have any solutions to this?

I have one small suggestion. In XPRESS RED & BLUE theme is digital clock at homescreen heavier to read. Lighter colored ( or not faded ) font for it could by better.

thanks for the only Black V7. I was using it for a while on my E71 and i have to say, this is the best black Theme I tried till now, especially as you modified the calendar and the Contacts part. One suggestion in especially the calendar view. if checking the Calendar in Monthly view you almost don’t realize which date you selected as the selected day is hiighlighted black on black. Could you change this to a higher contrast. Maybe using white. This would make the use easier as in case you’re in hurry and you check your schedules you won’t find that easily like it is now.
In case you have problems with english, i could , of course answer you as well in italian. Ciao ed a presto

I’ve created my own Sin City theme and recoloured (blue -> red) all standard S60 icons in the Carbide.ui Theme Editor, but your Black Hole icons would fit a lot better. Is it possible that you give them free for download (or send it directly to me)? It’s clear that I’ld use them only for personal purpose.

I really like your pure white theme, but the way the placement of the bars doesn’t look all that good on my Nokia 6650. I have this problem with most themes on this phone, so I stick to no bars versions of your themes, but you don’t seem to have a no bars version of pure white. Any shot you’ll come out with one

I’m loving your themes, I think they are the best ones out there. I used to have the Mah-theme and now I just switched to the DarkInPink-theme which I think it’s great. However I noticed that it don’t have all the icons that Mah have and the phonebook and calendar for example don’t have the same colorsheme as the theme. So I guess my suggestion is that you should update the theme!:)

Totally agree with you Jack mate that Only Black v7 is the best theme and like you would only change batt and sig bars as everything else is PERFECT .

Hey guys! this is more of a selfish request of mine…
your most recent themes “darkness (update)” and “ONLYBLACK 5TH”
are the two top themes i currently use…
and when i get a phone call and the caller id kicks up… due to the dark background and dark text that appears ONLY when my customized ringtone utilizes a video, i cannot see the name of the person or number who is calling me
basically.. a normal audio ringtone shows text colour according to your theme style… but when a video is used as the ringtone it shows up black regardless and its impossible to see against the black background of your themes…
was wondering if it were possible for you guys to fix that black text back to the kinda white and green colours of the themes?

I appreciate your work very much. Your themes are really great. I like especially the OnlyBlack 5th one.
I have a Samsung Omnia HD (i8910) and looks great with your themes except one little problem: in the dial screen (where you get the virtual phone keypad and dial in a number directly) the font for the displayed numbers is in black on a very dark (almost black) background, which makes the dialed number almost invisible. The blinking cursor is instead very visible in white. If the font of the numbers would be also in white it would be great. This problem is happening with all dark themes.
If you could add support for the Omnia HD it would be very much appreciated by everyone having this phone.
For now I use BLOW as it has a lighter background in the dialer and the numbers appear visible, but I realy like the OnlyBlack.
hallo Florin… I’m sorry but this is a bug that I can’t fix… In OnlyBlack there are not black colors … I think that your phone use always black for dial screen so all dark themes has this problem .. I hope samsug will fix this problem

I don’t want to contradict you, but the default themes (Precision & Universal) have the same color in the dial screen and is not black, but rather some blueish color (cyan). Maybe, is some kind of automatic color setting that is to blame, but I really have no idea, so forgive me if I’m talking nonsense.

maybe the default theme is not made with Nokia Carbide 3.4 …. Have you never see a theme (not the default theme) with a different color in dial screen ? I’d like to fix this bugs for samsung … but it’s not so easy

@Calvien: opera mini is a java program .. and his icon can’t be change witha a theme ( you have to edit the jar file befor install it )
For Facebook (a widget program) and for all widget I don’t insert icons … they change uid each day …. and on each phone is a differet uid … so it’s impossible make icons for this programs …..

first i got to say that your skin are the best. i’m sure you often hear this but its true ;).
I use the Skin DarkInGray on my N95 8GB and i wanted to ask why not all icons of my apps are changing. Many apps get a new icon with your skin in a gray tone but not all? why is it so?
And then i wanted to suggest a skin with a background motive with a “new school tattoo motive”. E.g. with an e-guitar, cubes, flames, skulls, aces, a 8 ball of pool etc…
In black such things would be very nice…

I’ve had a E71 for awhile and these themes work great.. however my phone recently broke and i have a nokia xpressmusic 5730
will these themes work for it still? interms of screen resolution?

Congratulations on your fine artwork Babi.
I found your site over e71fanatics.com, they said you make wonderful work and they are right. I absolutely fell in love with the White & Brown theme and the Only Black v5 theme.
For outdoor activities on the E71 one needs a black text on white background theme – the brown text lacks some contrast. So my suggestion for a new theme:
- Based on the White & Brown theme, change the colour to White & Black
- Keep same icons and graphics
- Update the following icons: Opera mobile 10, native search icon, Mail for exchange, Skype

You make probably some of the nicest S60 themes I have seen on the web….& I have seen A LOT!!!
I know you clearly stated “no requests”, but this theme is by far the greatest theme I have ever used. The colors are vibrant, but still masculine.
That said, I just bought a Nokia N97 Mini, & if you find the time to make an S60 V5 copy of this theme, I think many would love it:

What will it take to slightly modify your NewDarkShimer theme for s60v5, and make the signal and battery bars orange instead of gray?
That would be one perfect theme! Orange is known to lift one’s mood, this way, there would always be at least something orange to look at.

i just found an older theme of yours named glamur on the internet..it was for v3. I immediately fell in love with it and am heartbroken that it’s not really compatible with v5 (the wallpaper seems to be too small). I would be so happy if u could release an updated version as I’m sure that a lot of women (or even men) out there would really love it as well!
I know that this is actually a request and I’m really sorry, but I really think the glamur theme is elegant and beautiful and should be published again.

I really really love your themes and I was wondering if there’s a possibility that you could make a theme of the Twilight movie. I have search the hole internet and I can’t find any that fits for Nokia N97, none of them are transparent and the icons are horrible. Then I tried to do it myself but I really can’t, that carbige ui theme editor is so complicated and I’m so stupid that it’s impossible combination. Something dark and mystical would be nice. I would be for ever so grateful.

So I’m going to ask if it would be possible to have the totally same theme in different colors? I just bought a new cell (Nokia 5730) and I instantly downloaded the “Darkness” But since my cell is rimmed with red, I’d like a theme that also fits it. :D So would it be any possible to have the same “Darkness” theme but only dark red?
