I install on my N82 the OnlyBlack5th V2 and it´s working without any problem, that iconpack is really awesome!
The only issue is when you unlock the device, a white square comes up, but it take less than a second to dissapear, so you can use it perfectly.

Fabian Flm – I was actually trying to say that the second version of icons is my favourite, other than that I have no problem with theme on my E51, and yeah my brother does that too, installing 5th themes on S60 3rd phones hehe.

I’m a fan too and when I showed your themes to my friends they use only your themes. I’d like a green-brown coloured theme
those two colours match nicely. Will you make it? I don’t think you have such a theme.

I have one thing to ask you though – see if this can be done. Is it possible to produce a NoBars version of your OnlyBlack 5th theme – so basically there is no gradient bars on the buttons at the bottom and there is as little grey/white filling on icons as possible – i.e. the theme is as understated as possible – I’m a great fan of your OnlyBlack CI NB 3rd theme – it’s the best theme I’ve ever seen for my N95 8GB, so obviously I am looking for the same on my N97. Your 5th theme as it stands now looks a bit too bright on the N97.
For the time being the only theme which gets closest to your NB version on N97 is BlackSketch by Sauromatum (http://sauromatum.22web.net/2009/08/09/black-sketch-update/).
Again, you work is hugely appreciated here in London!

@ Yevgen: I know what you mean …. but the “onlyblack” has always been so, no total dark but with some gradients.. maybe in the future there will be a total black ;)

@babi: Actually, OnlyBlack V7 NoBars version (symbian 3rd) which was available from here http://www.symbianthemes.mobi/ and I think is still available from your site had no gradients on the left and right option buttons (at the bottom of the screen) – the gradients were only visible on selected items and they were very understated (just like on the rightmost picture on the V7 illustration above) – this is what I was looking for on my new N97.

As you can see the gradient covers all 3 of the bottom buttons on the home screen (unlike on v7). The home screen icons for apps have a thick outline, whereas v7 had very thin elegant outline. In file manager the selected line has the gradient going aprox. 70% down, whilst on v7 it onlly went down about 30%.
Perhaps my N97 doesn’t behave the way you intented it to?..
In any event a very sober only black theme for N97 would be hugely appreciated, as I don’t think anyone can do it better than you!
Maybe I will do a total black for 5th… I’m not sure that I understood everything you say…. I test my themes on my 5800.. I try it also on n97 but with rda… so I don’t know how it really looks like on phone …. on my phone is very nice …. maybe next version will be without bottom ok? ;)

i had the 3rd edition version on my n95 8gb and it was perfect, but the 5th edition version is bull. my N97 completely breaks down when switching to widescreen mode with this theme (v2).
I’m very sorry Stoeff.. but I really don’t know what happens on n97.. I try my themes on my 5800 and I have no one problem ( I try also on rda with n97 and no problems
)… Maybe for your phone is better the default version
thanks for your immediate answer. i have now tried the standard version, but the themes background (the small black squares) always apear when switching display modes before the background picture is shown.
but except of this it works perfect. but some icons do not change. the V2 really looks good, i will try to install it again and see what happens. now it is no problem if my handy breaks because i have already lost my data through the hard reset i had to do.
one more question, why are there always 2 .sis files? one about 700-900 kb and one with the ending “DI” about 70-100 kb?
ok, just got it that both themes are called “V2″. the problems i have are with the “onlyblackV2.sis” but also the “blackV2_dhanusaud.sis” does not work very well.
you should mark your themes for 5800 only, because they can cause massive data loss and operation problems on n97 and maybe other 5th edit. devices like the omnia.
i have just reinstalles both themes and same again, also on my brothers n97, so not just my phone.

You find 2 files in each zip.. one is with costom icons and one with default icons (this is more more light..) have you try to install the v2 default version? With no icons?

There’s a BIG problem with this theme and Nokia N97 phone. My new N97 died
after I installed this theme and I wasn’t only one, here is another case http://forum.dailymobile.se/index.php/topic,10651.new.html#new. It doesn’t do anything so I have to sent this to get reboot. I hope you put warning here that it might do this.

. Also if you don’t clear web browser cache you may have problems. If a theme is corrupted the phone come back to the default theme..
I have read.. I have ask to some users with n97 but they use my themes and don’t have this problem. The question is: where have you install this theme? In phone memory? Or in memory card? N97 has no a big ram, so if you install too much program or themes in phone memory it will crash
Or also if you have too many programs running in backgroun you can have problem
A theme can not spoil a phone because it doesn’t touch anything on the operating system .. maybe a program but not a theme
I’ve installed it to that N97′s flasmemory so not straight to phone memory. I’ve used also that Ultimate 5th – theme of yours with my N97 and there wasn’t any problem. But right away as I’ve installed this Onlyblack it died.
I had Nokia 5800 earlier and it hadn’t any problem with it. And since I’m not the only one with this same problem there has to be something wrong in this theme.
If there is something wrong in theme nobody can use it right? And I have ask to many n97 user …. maybe there is something wrong on your phone, or maybe some application that has been in conflict… Only black is like Ultimate.. only different colors and different background… but it is the same theme…. same project ;)

i’m using your themes for my samsung i8910 omnia hd. why? because they are the best! they are great but mostly they have a little bug. there are black numbers on grey ground when typing a phone number.
ist it possbile to change that into white on grey background or change the grey backgroung into a lighter grey one. at least on that theme, please.

Just curious, how come e72 mailbox background color (white) can’t follow the themes bgcolor (black), but the mailbox fontcolor (default is black) can follow the themes fontcolor (white), and make it unable to read with white bgcolor and white font color? Hope you can guide us on this… thanks again!
